Putting the Fun into Making Holiday Treats!

My family loves to bake and make fun treats for the holidays! We also make extras to share with neighbors and friends. However, I know for some parents, time in the kitchen with kids can be a bit stressful. So, let’s talk about that for a minute.

When cooking in the kitchen with kids, it often best to lower your expectations. Things will go wrong. You will make a mess. However, focus on the enjoyment. Messes can be cleaned later!

Also, make sure you have extra ingredients when cooking and baking with younger children. That way if you have a disaster, you always have back up ingredients.
