Making Valentine’s Day Memories
As you all know…well if you have read my blog for a while…I love to do things and share ideas on making memories with your child. While I have been known to go over the top now and then (if you have seen my elf-inspiration), I like to do simple things with them too. Also, kids remember those simple things as well!
Doing fun little crafts and games gets them excited about any holiday…even one that is totally a Hallmark holiday! If your child’s favorite show has a special episode for the holiday, make an event out of watching it! Grab the popcorn and sit down and enjoy some snuggle time! Also, themed sensory bins make for a fun afternoon and are super festive too!
Unless you are doing a really intensive craft, most of these ideas require very little prep and make a lasting impression with your kids!
However, I do want to also say that sometimes the bare minimum is all we can do. Life gets chaotic and messy, and sometimes we just don’t have it in us to be that super Pinterest parent! And that is okay!
