So this month, we have had two teenagers living in the house, one from France and one from Spain. Both boys have been wonderful, and we have enjoyed having them. However, it has opened my eyes to one thing that I have not thought about until this month: what would happen if I had another boy?

You see, for whatever reason, it has been Bubby vs. the two students all month. He will start something. Everything will calm down, and then they start something. All day long, it is total chaos. Ok, so I am used to the chaos, but this is a little weird to me. You would think with the 9 year age difference, it wouldn’t be like this. Ok, so maybe the one student and my son have similar personalities and are both high energy, but still. So I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday. She has a teenager and a four-year old. She said it is the same thing at her house, day in and day out.

So of course this got me thinking about what would happen if I had another child, and I had a boy. Bubby would have an 8 or 9 year age difference between that child. Would this be my daily life then?

Just so you all know, I am not sure if we are going to have another child because of my husband’s job and other things. Part of me wants to have another child. It is a lot to think over.

So if any of you reading this have children with large age gaps, especially those with boys, do they all fight like this? I really really want to know!
