Create Magic at Home with this Printable Christmas Party Kit for kids

Creating holiday magic is one of my favorite things to do with my kids! Since getting together with friends and family is not something we can do now, I want to find other ways we can have fun. That is why I am sharing this free printable Christmas Party Kit with all of you! You can create a fun Santa’s Workshop Christmas party at home with your kids. This is sure to be a blast, and when we can all get together again, you can try doing this with friends and family then!

 

Christmas and Holiday Parties Past

We love hosting holiday parties at home. Most years, I host a small party for the kids and their friends. We make a hot chocolate bar and usually play games and do crafts. When the kids were younger, it was a fun playdate and way to show and tell some of everyone’s favorite gifts from Santa! As the kids got older, it mostly became a new way for everyone to play Minecraft! (Because Minecraft is life, apparently)

However, we also have been known for our no-kid parties as well! My husband and I love to host parties for our friends too! We usually had the kids stay with Nana and went all out on cooking and sharing our favorite foods with our favorite people! Sometimes, we even had some of our friends travel from far away and spend the night! Those are some of my favorite holiday memories too! I love getting to spend time with people I love.

 

How This Year Is Shaping Up to Be Very Different

This year, we obviously won’t be hosting any parties with friends. However, I am trying to create some special memories with the kids in other ways! I am focusing on our Elf antics and looking for some fun Christmas light displays to visit. I am trying to make decorating fun. Also, I have been pulling out all the stops in finding new and entertaining holiday movies my kids haven’t seen yet! So, I am going way back and thinking of all of my favorites from when I was a kid!

I know this year may be hard for a lot of us. However, sometimes being creative, being flexible, and giving ourselves grace is the only way we can make it through these times.
