As you probably know, if you have been reading for a while, I was sick for quite a while. I am doing pretty good now. I am a little tired, but I definitely feel much better. So today I did something that I have really missed. I exercised. Oh man, did it feel so good. I only got a 45 minute workout, but I figured that was good enough for my first day. I would like to get up to an hour again.
At this time, my focus is mostly just feeling healthy and good about myself. Being sick, falling behind, and not doing much because of not feeling well has had a way of making me feel kinda blah about myself. I would have thought that the experience would have caused me to lose a few pounds. I have been eating healthier than I have ever eaten before since I gave up a whole bunch of crap for Lent this year. I decided that I wanted to stick with it after Easter. Of course, part of this was because I did my whole post-Lenten pig out. It was bad. I just felt like crap the next day. Blech!
So where am I at in the whole Fit and Fabulicious experience? Well, I am not quite sure. My goals at this point are not actually a goal weight or even a specific size. Right now I have three short-term goals. They are the following:
1. Keep eating healthy
2. Exercising most days but also knowing my limits so I don’t overdo it.
3. Loving myself, just as I am. I figure if I don’t love myself as I am right now, it won’t matter if I lose weight or anything. I need to be happy with who I am. The rest is just icing on the cake.
So that is pretty much it for now. For those of you who have asked, yes I do have some more recipes to post. I am just really behind.
