I am so excited that fall is finally here! I love those few weeks where it’s not too hot, not too cold, and there is fresh apple cider everywhere! This year, fall may look different for many of you, and you might be wondering how to have fun with your family while still trying to socially distance. Don’t worry! Our Favorite Fall Family Activities
Our family is big into fall family fun, especially if it combines with some Halloween fun! There is a local fruit farm we hit up every year for donuts and cider. We also pick up our pumpkins there too. We love to make fall and Halloween crafts, plus watch Nightmare before Christmas and Hocus Pocus a couple dozen times.
Decorating for fall is something my kids always look forward to as well. Our fall decor box keeps getting bigger and bigger. If we get anymore decor, I think we are going to have a stash to rival our Christmas decorations!
It is fun though to create those family traditions. The kids look forward to them. Many of them are things that are special to our family and cannot be ruined by things we can’t control, like what is going on in our world right now. Finding activities and creating traditions as a family is very important and provides a certain stability, even when other things in life seem uncertain.
