One of my favorite parts of summer growing up was fair time. My first Ohio State Fair experience happened when I was an adolescent in 4-H. I placed first with my clothing project and got to represent my county at the State level. That is why I want to share why Ohio State Fair should be on your bucket list and Ohio travel list!

What to Do?
The Ohio State Fair runs this year from July 27-August 7. It includes exhibits, rides, food, entertainment and more! My kids love to eat fair food until they can’t eat anymore, ride amusement rides, and see the animals.
However, there is a lot more than just that to do at the fair. Some of the other options include:
- Accesible Playground
- All Ohio-State Fair Band and Youth Choir
- Camel Rides
- Canine Class
- Kayak Pond
- Kids Fishing Pond
- Lumberjack Show
- Land & Living Exhibit
- Little Farmers
- Marvelous Mutts
- Monster Mural
- Natural Resources Park
- A Petting Zoo

Tickets
Tickets prices are as follows:
- Adults (ages 13-59) – $10
- Youth (ages 6-12) – $8
- Senior (ages 60+) – $8
- Children five and under – Free
- General Parking – Free
Ride tickets are:
- $30 — Ride-All-Day Wristband
- $1 credits — Fairgoers can buy individual ride credits for $1 each. All rides require 3 or more credits.

Creating Summer Memories
