For my children’s party this year, we decided to do a Cosplay party. While my son had an easy costume because he went as the Ninth Doctor, I got the crazy notion that I could make my daughter’s TARDIS costume. It didn’t turn out too bad for being a novice. Take a look!

While it is nowhere near perfect, I did have fun making the shirt, and my daughter absolutely loves it. She wore it all around town! Have you ever made a costume for your child, and if so, how was your experience?

I am a homeschooling mama and pin up model of three who loves coffee, gaming, reading, and anything to do with Star Wars or Doctor Who! When I am not playing with the kids, I can be found experimenting with cooking or screaming at the tv while playing video games.

  1. I made tutus one year for Lilly’s birthday party. All the girls were princesses with tiaras and tutus and the boys had swords and breast plates. It was a lot of fun. it took me a little while to make the tutus but they were no-sew so they could have taken longer.
