The Philadelphia Travel & Adventure Show Announces a Full Lineup of Speakers, including Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown and Phil Keoghan, Host of the “Amazing Race”
The Nation’s Largest Series of Travel Shows Lands in Philadelphia on March 21st and 22nd at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Featuring Thousands of Vacation Options from Around the Globe,
“Taste of Travel Stage” and even a 15,000 Gallon Interactive Scuba Tank!

PHILADELPHIA – (March 16th, 2015) – The nation’s largest series of consumer travels shows comes to the Pennsylvania Convention Center this weekend, launching in Philadelphia on March 21st and 22nd.  Scheduled to present are a virtual “who’s who” of the travel industry including Samantha Brown, Phil Keoghan, Todd Carmichael, Joe Rosendo and Patricia Schultz. The event’s National TV Media Sponsor, the Travel Channel, will also be on-hand with a fun, interactive booth and travel experts.
Additionally, the entertainment lineup will include an electrifying stage of cultural performances, world-renowned chefs & food tastings and fun-for-the-entire-family interactive exhibits. A never-ending array of exotic and exciting destinations will be on display, delivering to the consumer a global extravaganza and one-stop shop for planning your next vacation.
Travel experts from Aruba to Africa, Maine to New Zealand and Delaware to the Dominican Republic will all be part of this action packed event, helping you to plan the trip of a lifetime or even a weekend getaway. Many will offer travel deals and show specials that you can only find at the show.  Hands-on activities such as a 15,000 gallon heated scuba dive pool, Segways to ride and even a rock climbing wall will make this event unlike anything the Pennsylvania Convention Center has ever seen before.

Samantha Brown has spent more than a decade at Travel Channel.  Her travel goal is to always show that if she can do it, you can do it.  With years of experience being on the road, she takes a look back at just how much the travel world has changed.  She touches on such topics as the evolution of using an app to book a flight (from the days of calling airlines) to the change in what motivates people to travel.  Samantha is still living in airports, hotels and out of a suitcase, but things are way different now than they were then!

Todd Carmichael, Host of Travel Channel’s “Dangerous Grounds”, Adventurer, Entrepreneur and Coffee Crusader
Presentation: Business Trip or Leisurely Vacation? Why Not Both!
As co-founder of La Colombe and as the host of Travel Channel’s “Dangerous Grounds: New Territory,” Todd Carmichael treks across the globe in search of the best coffee beans.  Unlike most executives, Todd also serves as La Colombe’s main coffee sourcer.  This means regular international trips almost every month of the year.  It’s all just another day at the office for Todd, but he makes sure it doesn’t feel like work.  In this session, Todd shares how he incorporates ways to make business travel feel more like fun travel.
