Happiness in a cup!

I hope you like my tropical smoothie recipe as much as we do. This has been a summer staple of ours for a long time! I like to play around with variations sometimes. The kids usually like the fun concoctions I end up making.

Making treats like this is a fun way to make memories with your kids. Oftentimes, we do this for a special snack. Sometimes we will make these and have some popcorn. Then we will watch a fun movie or show. Having special snacks or dishes is something your kids will remember for a long time.

My mom had special brown sugar cookies that she would make. I always have fond memories of getting those as a treat! With my grandma, it was always her applesauce. I have never had anything that quite replicated it.

I love being able to create recipes and also love that my kids enjoy it too. What are some special foods that your kids love for you to make? I would love to hear about them in the comments below! Also, don’t forget to share this recipe or pin it for another time! You can also find me on social media for more fun, recipes, homeschool adventures, and parenting ups and downs!

  1. This sounds dee-lish! It reminds me a little of a Disney recipe people rave about, but I never made nor had. I like to freeze fruit for smoothies, this is one I want to make!!! Yum!
