Christmas is over, and the elf has gone away for the year. For my very last post for the 25ish Days of Christmas, I wanted to show you all we did with our elf this year in hopes to inspire you for next year! Please feel free to pin this for next holiday season!

Elf Arrival

Our Elf arrived at the beginning of December with Advent Calendars and coloring sheets for all. Miss Crankles loved her Barbie one, and Barbie became part of some of our elf fun!

Elf in our little Tree

Of course Grainger had to check out our Dress Form Tree! She’s gorgeous!

Elf Playing in the Snow

I usually do a few “big” events in the elf visit, and this was THE BIG ONE. It was so super simple though. I found a snow tubing set for 18 inch Dolls at Walmart and used it to create this scene of Grainger heading down the hill, looking at a map, and getting ready to go past two reindeer drinking cocoa. The “snow” was made out of a blanket draped over some pillows and the sofa. Crankles thought this was hysterical!

Santa Tracker

This is an elf staple in our house. Close to Christmas, we have the elf “watch” for Santa. My kids always got super excited and then had to explore the website for themselves!

Elf on a Bike

If you have any decorations that move, this is a fun one. We positioned it to make it look like he was joyriding with the snowman!

Hanging Around

Apparently, Grainger likes aerial acrobatics. He had some fun hanging out upside down on the ceiling fan!

Taking Care of Animals

Crankles has a couple of small stuffed animals that she loves to “feed” and love. I thought it would be cute to have Grainger help! I did not realize until after the pictures were taken that the pink bunny looks a little angry!

Baking Cookies

Super easy set up! Get your favorite mixing bowl, add a cookie mix, and your elf! We use an Elf Magic Elf which encourages play with the kids, so if you have a different kind of elf, he might not want to be in the bowl!

Elf Art

Crankles loves her miniature easel as you can tell by its well loved look! Grainger drew her a picture one night on it, and she loved it! The great part about this is that you do not need artistic talent to pull this off!

Elf Bringing Goodies

Our Elf brought some candy necklaces one morning for the kids! Super big hit! Minimal effort!

Elf on a Horse

Grainger went on a nice horseback ride with Spirit and the gang!

Barbie and Elf Plane Ride

Here’s the night Grainger borrowed Wonder Woman’s plane.

Elf at a Tea Party

This is great if you have a tea party set! Even the Furby had a great time!

The Naughty Elf Wrote on The Mirror

Okay, so confession time: Crankles hated this one! She yelled at her elf and told him he was naughty and should never touch Mommy’s makeup! I am glad that she knows that my makeup is off limits, but I felt bad because this was something that the big kids loved when they were little.

Reading with Friends

Reading is super important in our house, and Crankles left a few of her babies and her favorite book out one night. I set this up fairly quickly, and she was happy that someone told her babies a bedtime story!

While this isn’t quite all of them, I hope this gives you some ideas for next year! Don’t forget to pin it and save it for next Christmas! I hope you have enjoyed sharing holiday fun with me and my family! We hope you had a terrific holiday and wish you a very happy New Year!
