Glow in the Dark Mermaid Tail Blanket Review

 

My littlest one loves all things cuddly! She loves to wrap up in a blanket and watch movies or snuggle with her dolls. So recently, we got the opportunity to review a fun glow in the dark mermaid tail blanket from Liderstar, and I wanted to share about our experience with all of you!

About the Blanket

This glow in the dark mermaid tail blanket is super soft! When you have a child that is really into textures, softness is very important! The blanket has little stars all over it and some encouraging words too! It comes with a UV flashlight as well.

The UV flashlight is important for activating the glow in the dark properties of the blanket. To get the blanket to glow, all you have to do is shine the flashlight on the blanket for about a minute. Then, turn off the lights for a fun, glow in the dark experience!

It is made of microfiber that doesn’t shed. Plus it is hypoallergenic. Kids can use it for bedtime or for cuddling up with a book or watching a movie!

 

 

Our Thoughts

Crankles barely contained her excitement about getting a blanket that “would turn her into a mermaid.” Those were her exact words!

She hopped in the blanket right away and has been carrying it around with her ever since. When I told her it also glowed in the dark, she got super excited. I showed her how to make it glow with the flashlight, and then she tried it herself. After she tested it out in the dark, her older sister asked if she could have a try. My thirteen-year old fit in the blanket just fine and now wants one for herself. While she swears she is no longer a kid, she is still a kid at heart!

I like how well-made it is. The fact that I don’t have shedding from a blanket all over my living room makes me a happy mom! Also, it really DOES glow in the dark. That was kinda cool. The blanket is great for snuggles and bedtime. It would also work well for sleepovers too!

Final Thoughts

Crankles really loves her glow in the dark mermaid tail blanket, and considering how Sissy keeps eyeing it, I may have to get her one too! If you have a child that loves mermaids, this definitely makes a great gift for them!
