Crockpot Salsa Chicken Tacos

Crockpot Salsa Chicken Tacos are an easy, hands-off dinner made with tender shredded chicken simmered in flavorful salsa. The slow cooker does all the work, creating a juicy, seasoned filling perfect for tacos.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 16 oz jar chunky salsa
  • ½ oz half packet taco seasoning
  • Flour tortillas
  • Toppings - we used cheese tomatoes, and cilantro

Method
 

  1. Arrange the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the chicken breasts.
  3. Pour the salsa over the chicken breasts.
  4. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  5. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and use two forks to pull it apart and roughly shred it..
  6. Add the chicken back to the crockpot, stir, and serve on tortillas topped with your favorite taco toppings.
