Build a leprechaun Trap Craft for St. Patrick’s Day

It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, and to celebrate here is a fun craft for you and your kids! This Leprechaun Trap craft looks super cute! Plus, I break it down into easy step-by-step instructions! So let’s get started! This craft uses an X-Acto knife, so be sure to have a parent helping with this craft!

Leprechaun Trap Bottle Craft

Materials and Tools:

1. Empty Green Plastic Bottle.
2. X-Acto Knife.
3. Pebbles.
4. Pom’poms.
5. Colorful Craft Papers.
6. Golden Craft Paper.
7. Sticks/Bamboo Skewers.
8. Glue.

Instructions:

Step 1:
Use a marker pen to mark where you want to cut the plastic bottle.

Step 2:
Use an x-acto knife to cut the bottle in half.

Step 3:
First, place some pebbles on the bottom of the bottle cut out.

Step 4:
Fill in the rest of the bottle using pom-poms.

Step 5:
Take two sticks to make the ladder.

Step 6:
Cut out two long pieces from the sticks and five small pieces.

Apply glue on the longer sticks.

Glue the short sticks horizontally connecting the two long ones.

Cut out the pot using black craft paper, and cut out the gold coins using golden craft paper.

Cut out the rainbow patterns from craft papers.

Step 11:
Glue all the rainbow colors together serially.

Glue the clouds on both ends of the rainbow.

Use a stick on the back of the rainbow.

Place the rainbow on the bottle.

Then, place the gold pot on the pom-poms.
