I love looking at all the pretty Spring and Easter decor at my local Target and then realize that I am too cheap to actually buy any of it. Recently, I decided I should just start making my own. With a few items from the Dollar Tree, you can do so much! So today, I am going to share how to DIY a Spring or Easter Egg Topiary with items from your local Dollar Tree!
Dollar Tree DIY Spring Easter Egg Topiary
This project is fairly inexpensive. Plus, you should be able to find almost everything at your local Dollar Tree or craft store! Even if you aren’t very crafty, this one is pretty easy to do too!
Supplies:
- Dollar Tree Safety Cone
- Dollar Tree Reindeer Moss and Regular Moss
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
- 5 Packages of Dollar Tree Eggs
- Waverly White Chalk Paint (this is optional, I painted the cone white in case you could see any but the moss covered everything)
- Paint Brush (optional if you are painting it)
Instructions:
Start by painting the cone white with the Waverly white chalk paint (this is optional).
Once completely dry, using the hot glue gun, add some hot glue to the eggs and place randomly on the safety cone.
Once all of the eggs are glued on, start adding the reindeer moss to fill in between the eggs with the hot glue.
Then add the other moss on top.
Once done, you can add other decorations to it, like little birds or other Spring decor.
