Making Quick Meals Doesn’t Mean A Compromise on Healthy Choices

Sometimes when we hear the words “quick meals,” we think of something that probably isn’t the most healthy choice for meal ideas. While the ingredients I use for this recipe aren’t totally healthy, it is easy to make your own substitutions for your ten minute tacos.

Some of these substitutions might mean a different tortilla choice. Personally, I don’t use flour tortillas anymore because of my food allergies. I love the Siete brand tortillas for taco night now, and they are gluten and dairy free!

My family loves sour cream, so they definitely won’t give that up any time soon, but personally, I have been skipping it for myself for a while. I found a dairy-free version, but I like to keep my costs down. Therefore I rarely use it.

Making choices that are right for your family is important with any meal you make. I love making quick meals like this because you can substitute for your family’s needs and still have a tasty, yet quick meal!
