A Little About Greg Landry’s Covid-19 printable homeschool lesson and worksheet
Students in Greg Landry’s online science classes have had a lot of questions about COVID-19 (by the way, this is not the name of the virus), and your children may also have questions. Greg has created a PDF to address the common questions and to give students an understanding of viruses in general, and this virus in particular…in a way that’s fun for students.
For example, Greg Landry believes that in science, it’s very important for students to have what he calls
“magnitude perspective”. We all know that viruses, bacteria, etc. are very small but few people really have
perspective on how small they are and how they compare with each other and to the width of a human hair.
He does this not only with numbers but also with graphics they can easily understand.
