Oatmeal Poppers

by

These oatmeal poppers are delicious and easy to make, just like all my recipes. They’re perfect for using overripe bananas. Enjoy, and please let me know what you think!

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. You want to start with your bananas in one bowl. Mash them up with a fork. In another bowl, combine your bananas and oats. You might need to use your hands to make sure the oats are sticking to the bananas. After that, add your chocolate chips, cranberries, or nuts (or any combination of the three).
Grease your tray and drop your poppers onto it by the spoonful, using your hands to keep them in little balls. Bake for about 10 minutes.

Crankles approved!

They make a great snack. We use them for breakfast. The kids say they taste a bit like banana bread!
