This is yummy and easy to make, as is all my recipes. They are great to make when you have some over-ripe bananas to use. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 C Oats
2 Bananas, the riper the better
1/2 C Chocolate chips, dried cranberries, or nuts
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. You want to start with your bananas in one bowl. Mash them up with a fork. In another bowl, combine your bananas and oats. You might need to use your hands to make sure the oats are sticking to the bananas. After that, add you chocolate chips, cranberries, or nuts (or any combination of the three).
Grease your tray and drop your poppers onto the tray by the spoonful, using your hands to make sure they stay in little balls. Bake for about 10 minutes.
They make a great snack. We use them for breakfast. The kids say they taste a bit like banana bread!

This is a great idea! I can never eat bananas before they get too mushy.
