Who doesn’t want to be a super hero? With Wonder Crew dolls, your child can be just that and go on super hero adventures with their Wonder Crew Doll! Today, I wanted to take some time and tell you all about these super cool dolls that Miss Crankles and I found!

These dolls have been on Miss Crankles’ want list for a while, and if you held the doll, you would know why. These dolls are super soft. Her doll, Will, is now her favorite doll to take to bed at night because of the cuddle factor. However, that is not the only reason she loves him. He comes with a cape and mask, and there is a cape and mask for her too. She loves to play dress up, so having a doll that she can match for adventures makes him all the more fun.

I love the concept of these dolls and wish that they would have been around when Bubby was younger. When he was little, he wanted a boy doll. Do you know how hard it was to find him one? I eventually found a Cabbage Patch Doll for him, but it took forever for me to find him. These dolls were inspired by boys and help promote that dolls are not just for girls. However, these dolls are meant for everyone and really help break down barriers that say that boys and girls can only play with certain toys.

I also wanted to add that I really appreciate the packaging on these dolls. So many of the toys we get have hard to remove packaging, and as you can see, this is not the case here.

The easy packaging made it easy to get him out of the box and off on an adventure with Crankles!

Miss Crankles is totally in love with her Will doll, and we are excited to see what new dolls come from the Wonder Crew in the future. These dolls can be found at Target and Toys R Us and run about $29.99. For my readers who celebrate Easter, these would make great alternatives to candy for Easter Baskets too!

I really hope to see more of these kinds of dolls, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments below!

Wubble™ Bubble Ball Review

How cool is this?!? This ball looks like a bubble but it plays like a ball. The kids had a blast playing with their Wubble™ Bubble Ball this past weekend. What’s a Wubble™ Bubble Ball? It is one of Target’s Hot Toys of the Year, as well as a Family Fun Toy of the Year. Inspired by his children’s wish to play with a real bubble, NSI President Frank Landi developed the Wubble™ Bubble Ball to make his children’s idea for fun, active play a real possibility. It has won numerous toy awards, including an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Best Toy Award, a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, a Mr. Dad Approved Award, a Parent’s Choice Award and the  Dr. Toy Best 100 Picks Award.

The ball inflates to about three feet tall. It comes with a pump to inflate it, and it can deflate for easy storage. The pump requires 4 D batteries. The only drawback to inflating it is that it doesn’t come with a dc adapter. It’s great for outdoor play, just be sure to keep it away from gravel and tree branches. You can also play with it indoors as well. I let my kids bounce it all over the house since we decided to test it on a very windy day.

Some things to keep in mind about your Wubble™ Bubble Ball:

  • Wubble Balls are not indestructible, but they have a lifetime replacement guarantee. It costs $6.99 to replace a Wubble under the guarantee.
  • Please take care not to damage your Wubble Ball during inflation. It might be necessary to use a little bit of oil (whatever you have in your kitchen) to insert the pump into the Wubble Ball the first time. If you have any trouble inflating your Wubble ball, you may find this video about “How to Inflate a Wubble Ball” helpful: http://youtu.be/jy4QK8zRcAo

Wubble™ Bubble Ball is available at Target, Toys R Us, and online at http://www.wubbleball.com. You can also check them out on Twitter (@WubbleBall) and Facebook (facebook.com/wubbleball).

Overall, the kids had a fun time playing with the ball, and they are looking forward to taking it to the park to bounce it around. It took only a few minutes to inflate it, and I love that we can store it easily. If you are looking for a fun toy to keep kids active, then make sure you put the Wubble™ Bubble Ball on your shopping list!

Meet the Happys!

*I received free products from Cepia, LLC and MommyParty. However, the opinions expressed here are my own

Have you heard of the neatest, most fun, interactive toy pets from Cepia, the makers of Zhu Zhu Pets? Well, this month, my kids and some of their friends got to test these guys out, and I will say, we all had lots of fun!

We got to test four of The Happys pets and one Chase and Play Ball. Each of The Happys comes with a “treat.” Each treat makes the animal do a different trick. So the kids had fun exchanging treats and making the animals do things like wiggle, beg, and pounce. Here are the animals we got to try:

One of the things I did to get the kids excited about playing with their new furry friends was to make their own animal ears. Since it was close to Easter, most of the children wanted to be bunnies!

The children had fun racing their pets and playing with them. The animals are really soft too, which meant that they were also fun to cuddle!

We also got plenty of snack ideas to go along with the pet theme, like “Puppy Chow” (Chex Muddy Buddies), and we also got to test Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn!

The kids had a blast. The pets really do run around, and the “treats” for them are really fun because you can make the animals do different tricks with each one. My kids are very excited to save their allowance to buy more of The Happys!

If you would like to learn a little more about The Happy’s, please feel free to check out the following You Tube videos. The Happys are available in retail stores now and run about $19.99
