This year at Sweet Suite at Home, I had the opportunity to chat with the creators at Toniebox! The Toniebox is one of my favorite toys that we have reviewed this year and one that Miss Crankles can’t live without now! Want to know why? Then read on for our full Toniebox review!
What is the Toniebox?
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know a little about our love for Toniebox! The Toniebox is a screen-free playtime and storytime device that uses little figures called Tonies to tell stories. The little Tonies are durable and your child can collect them and play with them too!
Along with the regular Tonies, Toniebox also has Creative-Tonies. With Creative-Tonies, you can record up to 90 minutes of your own content…as in stories, songs, and more! The possibilities with this box are endless!
Why We Absolutely Love The Toniebox!
I want to say first of all that I wish that Toniebox existed when my big kids were little. When my husband would be on a hitch for weeks or months at a time, being able to record his voice would have been ideal!
That being said, my Crankles loves this box because it combines some of her favorite things, storytime and collecting things! She loves that you can change out the figures and tell different stories. The Toniebox helps her relax and is great for quiet time, playtime, and even bedtime. She also loves playing with the figures and taking them with her around the house and for car rides!
With not being able to see our friends and relatives much right now, the whole idea of having a Creative Tonies that records 90 minutes of content is awesome for being able to have family and friends use the app to record their voice for Crankles to hear! It is awesome!
However, as a homeschool mom, I definitely see the potential in using the Creative Tonies in recording ideas and homeschool related material for Crankles down the road. This toy really has a lot of uses and is definitely worth the money!
